Your gear works hard. Treat it right.

Every SYNE piece is built with performance fabrics chosen for their function — quick-dry, breathable, lightweight, and odour-resistant. To keep them performing at their best, a little care goes a long way.

Washing

• Machine wash cold (30°C or below)
• Wash inside out to protect fabric and print
• Use a gentle, mild detergent
• Wash with similar colours — avoid washing with heavy cotton or rough materials
• Do not use bleach or fabric softener — softeners break down performance fibres over time and reduce moisture-wicking properties
• Avoid washing with items that have zips or velcro — these can snag and damage the fabric

Drying

• Air dry wherever possible — lay flat or hang to dry away from direct sunlight
• Do not tumble dry — high heat degrades elastic fibres and affects the fit and shape of the garment
• Do not wring or twist — gently press out excess water instead

Ironing

• Do not iron — performance fabrics are heat-sensitive
• If needed, use the lowest heat setting only and iron inside out
• Never iron directly over prints, logos, or embroidered details

Storing

• Store clean and fully dry — storing damp garments leads to odour and fabric degradation
• Fold rather than hang where possible to maintain shape, especially for leggings and shorts
• Keep away from prolonged direct sunlight when storing

A Few Extra Things to Know

• Avoid contact with rough surfaces during wear — repeated friction can cause pilling
• Rinse your gear as soon as possible after a session — the longer sweat sits in the fabric, the harder it is to fully remove odour
• If your garment has reflective details, avoid abrasive surfaces and harsh chemicals that can wear them down
